Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County (HIS-OC)

Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County (HIS-OC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families, transitional-aged youth, and seniors experiencing homelessness find stability and hope. Since 1989, HIS-OC has provided safe shelter, supportive housing, counseling, and comprehensive case management to empower individuals toward self-sufficiency. Through compassionate care and community collaboration, HIS-OC addresses the root causes of homelessness — from job loss, mental and physical hardship to domestic violence and trauma. Today, more than 85% of those served in our shelters are children and youth under 24, reminding us that homelessness is often hidden — and that healing begins with belonging, dignity, and opportunity.
